Antimix Number Two...
Ever wished you could spend 50-something minutes of your life listening to a bald, misanthropic, chain-smoking, delusional, obsessive-compulsive play an ill considered selection of music from his record collection? You're in luck!
The second installment in the ANTIMIX series is finally available to download, complete with the usual hastily put together artwork and tracklisting.

Slightly Mouldy Biscuits...
Yup, more music and gobshitery from Bozak, Mr Avacado, The Purist and Ginger Paul on episode 2 of the not-that-long-awaited SMB radio show.
Sort of like Chris Moyles or Steve Wright in the afternoon, but slightly less annoying, funnier and more likely to upset your mum, shag your sister and mutilate next door's pets.
Love it.

Child's Play...
All wannabe producers posting videos of themselves po-faced and punching the 16 keys (whilst secretly hoping for that elusive 5 album major-label deal, followed by endorsements from Mc Donald's and Nike and a guest slot on The Simpsons) need to watch this video of 10 year old Diana rocking her father's MPC and recognise that the ability to chop samples and tap rubber keys in a rhythmic pattern does not make you a producer - ANYONE CAN DO IT!!
Seriously, stop wasting time filming yourself trying to look cool whilst convincing yourself that you are the next PREMIER /PETE ROCK /MADLIB /DILLA /WHOTHEFUCKEVER and concentrate on making new, interesting music
Actually, it probably makes more sense if I just stop searching Youtube for interesting MPC/SP12 related clips and you lot can carry on impressing yourselves til your heart's content.
That aside, look at Diana go...

Straight Jack It...
Yup, another day, another mixtape... this one is mixed by MR THING (who's actually quite good - should go far!!) for YUNGUN who rhymes over a smoother, jazzier selection of beats than yer average UK rapper (what, no "Ten Yat Commandments"?) and collaborates with the likes of, amongst others, GURU, I.G. CULTURE, THE NEXTMEN, TONY D & DOC BROWN.
It's a decent, entertaining and welcome return from yet another rapper who seemed to teeter on the brink of the bottomless, where-are-they-now pit for a while when it turns out he was just busy hammering away at new tracks for a forthcoming album.
Available to download for nada HERE or if you're one of those progressive, no-record-collection-having, mp3jay types, you can download the unmixed versions HERE , set your computer to "mix like a goodun" and pretend that you were once a member of the Scratch Perverts. It's never been simpler.

The Attic Man...
Cappo - the hardest working / most underrated, with more pseudonyms than Howard Marks - returns with the long-awaited mixtape "Gusto Grizwold: International Vacation" of which Capps says, "For the past year I have been developing my flows and lyricism and expanding my music horizons, this tape marks my metamorphosis from Iron Condor to Isotope Flow Glider"
Released on his own UNDER THE CAP RECORDS label, "Gusto Grizwald ..." is available as CD or download HERE
(check the ELP sampling "Fitted & Snapback" below for an idea of what you get for your fiver...)
Oh and while you're at it, you should recognise the real and cop some of this man's extensive back catalog HERE

Tea, See...
If you haven't already, you should definately direct your electronic hindernet web browsing device to the TEA SEA RECORDS website and download the five FREE albums pictured above from Tom Caruana's Rough Versions Remix Series.
You should also check the ever-good BEATS AND BLOOD blog which is a great place to cop some decent music that you haven't already heard a million times this lifetime, which you can then repost on your own poor-excuse-for-a-blog and make out like it was your idea all along.
Big in the game.
Word to Thora Hird.

Last Minute...
FISH will be representing ANTISOCIAL / HOLDIN' COURT as support DJ for MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS at XOYO in London on Tuesday 18th October and will doubtlessly be loaded down with free cd's and whatnot for the disinterested masses so you can stop him and ask why he is writing this shit in the third person AND cop some new ipod fodder at the same time. Winner.

The Step Kids...
As ever, I am (un)fashionably late when it comes to finding out about good music and THE STEPKIDS LP was no exception (not helped by the fact that my postman has such good taste in music my first order got "lost") Anyway, here's a couple of tracks from the self-titled album which is currently available from your favoured STONES THROW dealer

FREEBIE...
Longtime UK graff mag WORDPLAY has switched things up again for it's 8th issue and is in serious danger of becoming a "proper" magazine with writing and articles and that. Boom.
