This is my tribute to N-Sign radio, a late night video show presented by Mr Tim Westwood which was pretty much the only place to see rap videos on tv in the UK during the late 80's. My mum used to videotape it for me as I was usually tucked up in bed when it aired. I wonder where those old vhs cassettes are now?

That is King Size brother.
Nostalgia is a terrible thing to waste...
N-Sign was one of the Hip-Hop televisual greats, basically cos we had very little else to go on in the UK during that period. Ye know you can still buy three vols of the show on DVD from the good folk over at http://www.rapandsoulmailorder.com/
The 2nd half of that Cash Money session is still one of my favourites for ahead of the curve cuttin.....still have the [recorded directly from the telly into my ghettoblaster] chrome tape of that full session, tasty [note to self, must digitise more tapes]
Thanks for remindin me that PE shot a video in [is that] Hyde Park?
S1W's patches are a strong look...

It does look like Hyde Park, but I live several hours north of Watford Gap so what the do I know?!
Will have to get onto Rap And Soul when I have a bit of spare cash to throw their way.
N-SIGN was an institution. I stayed up with my finger on the VHS pause button just desparate for my late night fix of fumbled handshakes, way out there expressions, and crazy dope hip hop videos. Say what you want about Big Tim, but he was the man back then. I'd give 2 limbs, a lung and one of my shrivelled kidneys for his record collection (imagine all those dubplates!)
