Radio Killed The Hindernet Star...

As you have probably already guessed, my love affair with reposting other people's thoughts, music and photos on the hindernet has finally fizzled out. This is mainly due to the fact that I have a weekly radio show on Manchester's ALL FM 96.9 which takes time to prepare, coupled with expensive drinking and record buying habits and the fact that I just don't think anyone's really that interested... I'm over it.
Seriously.
Not a problem.
Really.
Anyway, check the radio show. You can listen live on your radio every Tuesday from noon or go to the ALL FM WEBSHITEto listen to it on the hindernet or check the archive on Mixcloud HERE

Vents137...

vents137 x yardmaster x thebench504 from iam ventsa on Vimeo.

Professional tall guy and all-round good egg, VENTS did this advertorial thingy in conjunction with THE BENCH 504 and YARDMASTER a while ago and he has a cool new website where you can look at the pretty pictures he paints and shoot your wad on some of the guff that he has for sale.

Predictable Wak Shit...

I've been a bit slack with the whole hindernet blogging fuckery recently and nowhere is this neglect more obvious than on the annoying ginger stepchild that is the PAINTWASTERS WEBSHITE where I... Look, I don't have time for this shit, just assume that the following couple of paragraphs were going to be utterly hilarious and peppered with gramatical errors, then go and peep the relative uptodateness RIGHT HERE FOR FLIP'S SAKE

Jazzy Jeff...

just one of many tracks that I keep forgetting to share on this here pisspoor excuse for a blog...

"Jazzy Jeff inspired a generation of 80’s kids with classics such as ‘Live from Union Square’ and ‘A Touch of Jazz’ with his right hand man the Fresh Prince. I was one of those kids who used to scratch my head with amazement after listening to his turntable skills. Chrome hits the nail on the head with his nostalgic rhymes in this respectful nod to the man Jazzy Jeff aka Jeff Townes.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on January 22, 1965, Jazzy Jeff took to the DJ booth at age 10. He worked in area clubs, pioneering the transformer scratch and chirp scratch. In 1985, he and Will Smith formed the act DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. They sold millions of records and became the first rap act to win a Grammy. To this day he inspires thousands of dj’s with his dance floor rocking sets.
So let’s take a second to send our respects to the man with a touch of jazz on the decks. This is the second single from the second album from K-Delight due this year. This will be a limited edition FREE download then will be available from the usual online spots. Enjoy."

one down, god knows how many more to go. next...

Protecting Profits....

Stop your whinging about "scrounging" benefit claimants living the high life / immigrants "coming over here, taking our jobs" or whatever other porkies the national press are hyping at the moment and consider that a portion of your taxes go toward paying for THIS ^^ nonsense.
Paid for by the public for the benefit of private business.
